The UK’s largest supplier of lorry tension curtains, Structure-flex, have supported Sanders Coaches’ 50-year celebrations with a special anniversary livery for their new fleet of coaches.

Norfolk-based coach operator, Sanders Coaches, was established in 1975 and has grown significantly in the last 50 years, with their fleet of vehicles expanding from five to over 100.

To celebrate 50 years in business, Sanders Coaches contacted Structure-flex to supply and fit an anniversary-inspired livery in their original 1970s design.

“Having supplied vinyl and graphics to Sanders Coaches over many years, we were delighted to help them celebrate 50 years on the road. As a proud Norfolk-based business ourselves, it was especially nice to recreate their iconic 1970’s livery that so many of us still remember!” says Paul Reeve, Managing Director of Structure-flex.

Structure-flex printed, supplied and fitted vinyl graphics for one of Sanders Coaches’ brand new 53-seater executive coaches.

The 1970s design was recreated by David Jordan of Jump-On Marketing, who matched up the colours and font to old photographs of the livery.

Structure-flex then accurately printed the recreated 1970s design using their state-of-the-art wide-format printer to ensure a faithful finish.

In the coming months, Sanders’ anniversary-inspired coach will be used for hire and excursions across Norfolk, the UK and abroad alongside their current-branded coaches.

“For our 50th anniversary, we wanted to celebrate not just how far we’ve come but where we started – which is why we decided to return to a design which so many people around Norfolk and the UK have fond memories of. Structure-flex did an exceptional job helping us bring our vintage livery back to life – and we couldn’t be happier with the results” says Martin Sanders, Business Manager of Sanders Coaches.

Established in 1970, just one year after lorry tension curtains were first introduced, Structure-flex is a family run business that specialises in manufacturing products from flexible plastics.

With over 55 years’ experience manufacturing lorry tension curtains, Structure-flex offer a full in-house service for vehicle livery production – managing everything from designing and scaling artwork, to printing and arranging fitting.
