North Norfolk MP Norman Lamb officially opened Structure-flex’s new 50,000 ft2 factory premises, in Cromer, North Norfolk, on 28th August 2015 following the completion of a £1.5m refurbishment programme at the premises.

Managing Director, Paul Reeve, commented: “We are absolutely delighted that Norman Lamb MP agreed to officially open our new manufacturing facility and are very proud of the capabilities we are able to offer from here.

“Structure-flex has a history of constant progression with innovative technology and our Graphic Division recently invested a further £450,000 in the latest large format printing press which will further support our position as a leader in the design and supply of trailer curtainsiders and vehicle graphics.”

Norman Lamb MP, who previously visited Structure-flex in their premises in Melton Constable three years ago, said: “It was great to be able return to Structure-Flex Ltd after a number of years to see the results of their relocation and investment.

“They have created a number of new positions for workers and apprentices and have invested in sector leading manufacturing here in North Norfolk, both essential for the growth of the local economy.

“It was a pleasure presenting Long Service Awards to a number of employees and discuss the business’ future plans.”

A key factor in the success of Structure-flex has been the local workforce. Situated in rural North Norfolk, the company has a 65-strong committed, knowledgeable and loyal workforce that has adapted and learnt new skills to help the business progress and grow.

Six of Structure-flex’s loyal employees were recognised with Long Service Awards, clocking up a combined total of 130 years employment. Sean Goldsmith and John Miller both celebrated 25 years of loyal service and Paul Reeve, Bob Woodcock, Mike Gillett and Andy Grand 20 years each.

“This has been another exciting year for Structure-flex,” continued Paul. “Our new manufacturing facilities have already allowed us to keep the business at the forefront of a very demanding market as well as continue our growth internationally and re-inforce our commitment to developing excellent products for global markets.”
