The UK’s largest supplier of lorry tension curtains and graphics is using its investment in the latest technologies and materials to meet the rising demand for colour consistency.

In recent years, Structure-flex have reported an increase in the demand for exact colour matching whenever operators apply their brand design or colours to their vehicles.

In response, Structure-flex have continued their investment in the most up-to-date printing technology, ensuring they can deliver intricate designs whilst keeping colours vibrant for longer on the lorry tension curtains they manufacture.

“Colours are the first thing we often notice when we see a brand we recognise. Our clients increasingly expect the quality of their brand colours to be consistent across all their marketing, including their vehicle livery” says Paul Reeve, Structure-flex’s Managing Director.

Norfolk-based Structure-Flex have the UK’s largest facilities for manufacturing lorry tension curtains and vehicle graphics. Specialising in the use of PVC coated fabrics and high frequency welding technology, they have manufactured lorry tension curtains since 1970.

Structure-flex have made significant investment in printing technology which allows brands to create more ambitious and vibrant liveries, with colours matched from cab to trailer across their fleet.

They have recently expanded their capabilities further with investment in two Forsstrom TDW 24 kilowatt travelling high frequency welding machines.

“Our new welding technology means we can manufacture larger curtains in pairs with ease. Coupled with our grand format print technology, we can better ensure amazing colour consistency” adds Paul.

The new equipment gives Structure-flex the versatility to produce lorry tension curtains side-by-side and manufacture their largest products without the handling challenges experienced in the past.

“Brands want to stand out and are increasingly creative with their designs. We want to provide clients with exact colours and the latest technology allows us to meet those demands with higher efficiency and reduced lead-times” concludes Paul.

As 2023 shapes up to be another year of growth in the demand for lorry curtains and graphics, Structure-flex look set to meet it with their latest investments in technology.
