Rib-Loc
For over 15 years Structure-flex Ltd has been supplying Rib Loc with heavy-duty durable inflatable products to assist with pipe-laying applications. Rib Loc is an ingenious product developed to produce a continuous length of pipe in various diameters used in the rehabilitation of deteriorated pipelines with minimal disruption.
The inflatable products Structure-flex has developed for Rib Loc are inflated inside a section of pipe to support its shaped whilst concrete is applied. Once set and in place the product is deflated and relocated to the next section of pipe, where the process is repeated. The application of these inflatable products, sometimes manufactured in diameters as large as over 2 metres, ensures a consistent circular shape is kept along the length of the pipe.
